Who we are

Brite-Kleen Cleaners is a family-owned dry cleaner at 1242 Lakeview Ave, Dracut, MA 01826. You can reach us at 978-957-5842 or [email protected]. This policy covers the Brite-Kleen Cleaners app and this website. We are the only party responsible for the information described here.

What we collect

• Your phone number. It is how you sign in and how we identify your orders. We text you a one-time code to confirm the number is yours.
• Your name, as it appears on your account at the counter.
• Your order history — tickets, garments, prices, ready dates and whether an order has been paid. These are the shop's own records of work you asked us to do.
• Messages you send us through the app's contact screen.
• A push notification token, if you allow notifications, so we can tell you when your order is ready.

We do not collect your location, your contacts, your photos, or any advertising identifier. The app contains no analytics or tracking software.

Payments

If you choose to pay in the app, your card is handled directly by Square, our payment processor. Your full card number never reaches Brite-Kleen and we never store it. We keep only the amount, the date and Square's payment reference so the shop can reconcile your ticket.

How we use it

Only to run the cleaners: to show you your orders, to tell you when something is ready for pickup, to take a payment you initiate, and to answer a question you send us.

We do not sell your information, and we never share it for advertising. The only outside companies that touch it are the ones that make the app work — Twilio (the sign-in text and order-ready texts), Apple (push notifications), Square (payments) and Cloudflare (which carries the traffic). Each one only receives what it needs to do that one job.

Notifications and texts

You control both from Settings inside the app. Turning off push alerts turns order-ready texts back on so you don't miss a pickup; you can turn those off too. Neither is used for marketing you didn't ask for.

Deleting your account

Open the app, tap the gear icon, scroll to the bottom of Settings and tap Delete Account. That immediately and permanently removes your app account: every sign-in session, your push notification registration, your saved notification preferences, any unused sign-in codes, and any messages you sent us through the app.

Your paper trail at the shop — past and open dry-cleaning tickets and their payment records — stays in the shop's own books, because Massachusetts requires a cleaner to keep records of goods left in its care and of money taken. That information is not part of your app account and is never used to contact you once you have deleted it. If you want those business records removed as well, ask us in the shop or at [email protected] and we will delete everything the law lets us delete.

How long we keep it

Sign-in codes are discarded within minutes. Sign-in sessions last until you sign out or delete your account. Order records are kept as long as the shop keeps its books.

Children

The app is for our customers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes we will post the new version here and update the date at the top of this page.
